I reside in the Downeast Maine coastal area with a household adorned with two cats and two dogs. "Click", the current eldest cat is a Maine Coon Cat with an attitude. He is rather shy and tends to hide whenever there are strangers visiting. Few guests ever see this particularly beautiful Maine coon cat. Click has been the subject of several pet portraits over the years, some simple sketches, while others are extensive works. This Maine Coon Cat has a particular love of water. During the summer he will often be found perched on a rock in the small pond in the Ander yard, drinking the pond dry. In the winter he will often stand by a sink and cry until someone turns on the faucet for him to drink his fill; strange Maine Coon Cat behavior. As my pet portraits go, this is a simple rendering created to capture a Maine Coon Cat at his cutest. Ah kittens.

Creation turns me on. From a blank surface to the finished work of art, it's the process that feeds my soul. To me, art is a lifestyle, a compulsion and a passion. With a formal education in the arts spanning over eight years and an apprenticeship lasting two, I found myself addicted to the learning process. Now after more than forty years of practice, I still consider myself a perpetual student of art.
