Mom and her baby moose calf admiring the sunset at supper time in the tall wet grass, Lower Sabao Lake, Maine. Moose can be quite elusive, especially in the fall during hunting season, they seem to know when hunters are about. I dedicate much time to stalking moose with a camera rather than a gun and can often be found in the early morning hours or the sunset hours staking out moose habitats; waiting. I often use a kayak to access some of the more remote locations.
